After installing a software update on the 18th of November on my Galaxy S23 Ultra, my phone has been unable to maintain connection to the mobile network. It disconnects every few minutes and displays 'Emergency Calls Only'. The only workaround is to either restart the phone or enable then disable airplane mode. However, this only resolves the issue temporarily. I have tried all troubleshooting steps I can find online but none have worked. I have spoken to my network operator, and they have informed me that this is a Samsung issue. They’ve had several other customers raising the same problem. I’ve also spoken to other Galaxy users who have had the same experience.

What have you tried so far

Hi,
I've tried adjusting all settings as per troubleshooting instructions, including a full settings reset.
I've also tried the SIM in multiple slots.
I've also tried restarts after every troubleshooting step.
I've not done a full factory reset of the phone but would rather avoid that, particularly if this is a bug that won't be fixed by it. I've not found any other users with this issue who have resolved it with a full factory reset.
I'm wondering if rolling back the update would fix it but I don't know how to do that if it's possible.

Rollback is not possible. Is the phone meant for the region you are in? As not a US or HNK etc originally device

It's definitely the right phone for my region. I'm in the UK and purchased directly from Samsung last year.

Just tried both of those but sadly no luck. Tried a full settings reset a few days ago too.
