I'd like to share a very annoying problem occurred during a week in Switzerland: an esim suddenly blocked after 4 days although it worked perfectly before. This esim I installed a month earlier and was used before in Switzerland without any problem.
I have 2 physical sims (one with my main provider Proximus in Belgium and one with Sunrise Switzerland) and 2 esims for mobile data only (one with KT Korean Telecom and one with Drei/MobiMatter).
After I entered Switzerland, I set my main sim1 (Proximus) on "calls/messages only" and switched on my esim (Drei/MobiMatter) on mobile data were switched on after I entered Switzerland.
On the 4th day of use, suddenly nothing worked anymore. I lost any capability of sending/receiving data.
Then I checked and saw that I could not switch-off the esim (Drei) nor switch on sim2 (Sunrise). It gave messages that the connection with the esim could not be installed.
Restarting my S23 Ultra or even resetting the the network settings did not bring any solutions. Even removing the esims was not possible, getting the same pop-up "connection cannot be established".
My main sim1 took over the mobile data connection on top of the calls function. This costed me quite some troubles and incurred extra costs...
The friendly support desk of MobiMatter tried to help me with all sorts of procedures, but came to the conclusion it should be a software (update?) issue with Samsung.
It was only when I left Switzerland back into the European Union that I was in a position to switch-off the (not working) esim in the menu, and after restarting my phone.
I'd like to hear from others' experiences with this issue.
Above all, I would like Samsung to explain what needs to be done to avoid this issue in the future as I will need to use the esim in Switzerland at many more occasions this year. Thank you

Sometimes, dual eSIM + dual physical SIM setups (DSDA/DSDV) cause profile stack overflow or corruption — especially after roaming for several days. Some Samsung firmware builds don’t gracefully recover when an eSIM fails registration or gets throttled due to roaming policies.
