Woke up, my screen looked like this. Can’t get it back to original. It’s so difficult to use now. I don’t see any update that would have caused this and EASY MODE is off! See pics

I could use some help! Anyone know if this has happened to them and what’s the solution???

thanks for all your help!

Have you changed the theme?

The theme was changed before this happened with the galaxy theme app. I have changed the theme to something different several times today but doesn’t eliminate those big grey buttons nor emergency call button.

like I said. EASY MODE is OFF.

Is it an accessibility setting you've enabled? Like Vision enhancement > Large display

Check your ACCESSIBILITY settings, in case you accidentally activated something that was designed to assist visually-impaired people. There is also a grid setting somewhere, that allows you to specify the number of icons to display on your screen (4 x 4, 5 x 5, etc) by pressing and holding the home screen until the options appear at the bottom.

I went in and changed to default, THAT DIDNT CHANGE ANYTHING, I changed to high contrast which put it in “DARK MODE” but big grey buttons did not go away

Thanks for your response. I went under grid lines and can only change one of the categories. So I changed it to 3x3.  STILL NO CHANGE.

If it goes back to normal in Safe Mode then it's a 3rd party theme or customisation you have there.

Boot to Safe Mode and check

You’re absolutely right! There is an “easy Home Screen third party mode under settings” You switch it to “Ui Home Screen” which is factory and it resolves it. Thanks so much!
