Hi guys,
I'm facing issues in my newly bought Samsung s23 ultra phone, when ever i click picture on 200 and 50 mega pixel , it refines the picture,
, which is when i go to gallery to check picture, for the first few seconds the picture looks normal but after few seconds the same picture gets dark, look like some kind of filter add on.
.
I'm not getting how to turn this refining picture option turn off ,
If any one knows the solution please help me.

There is a workaround.  Install Google Photos and use this app to view your photos. Remove the permissions for the Gallery app on your camera app. Check this: https://blogmodif.blogspot.com/2024/07/samsung-image-optimization-frustrating.html?m=1

Even if u turned off the photo and video permission off for Samsung gallery, and u click picture at 200 mega pixel, and then u open your Google photo, instead of Samsung gallery, the picture result is same, because, Google photo fetch media from original Samsung gallery .

Yes it fetches from the gallery but the refining does not seem to happen because no permission to alter the photo. Tested on a few indoors photos and no refining visible when permissions on gallery are off. To be tested outdoors and with portrait photos but the photos look better to me with this trick

This seems to have solved it for me on my S23, at least so far:

Go to the Samsung app store and download Camera Assistant by Good Lock Labs. This was developed in cooperation with Samsung. Samsung doesn't have their own camera assistant app.

Launch the app and turn off Auto Lens Switching.

That's it! Hope this fixes the problem for you.
