I have an s22, and a s23 ultra.

Using quick share i moved an album from a recent trip to my s23. I hadn't realized but I had a folder with the same name. I thought samsung prompted me to either rename or merge the files. Either way, I just realized all those pictures and memories are now completely missing. Gone. It's the second time it's happened to me. It's a joke.

Is there any way that data is still on my phone? Any third party apps or methods I can use to recover all those images?

It's so confusing. Thanks for reading and your help. Jordan.

Hey! Welcome to the Samsung community. It is frustrating when that happens. To see if the files are still on your device, please go to My files > Internal Storage > DCIM > Camera. If your photos are still here, try to clear cache of the gallery app, restart the device and give it a try. Try 3rd party gallery apps and see if that helps. Alternatively check your recycle bin too! Hope this helps.

You could also check settings, device care, storage then recycle bin. If they've been deleted they should go in the recycle bin.
