They said its much better but It looks a bit too fiddly to install for me.
Samsung replied to me and just said if happens again send error log, I cannot get through to them it's not an error it's the software.
I might try a few different camera apps from play store that's easy to install.

Thank you for the quick response! I'm frustrated. I bought this camera for the camera, and I need an app to get the light levels and colour to be correct? I appreciate you sharing what you know!

Hi, @TaM44 and @Trish . I appreciate that you would like to adjust the brightness on your photos before snapping them - setting a filter that gives you shots that you prefer. Even though the guide below relates to some older devices, it does provide some helpful steps to get the shots you desire on your phone:

In addition to this, I recommend having a look at the brief guide below, which gives more information about the Scene optimiser feature:

Thank you for the reply, the links you sent seem like what my older Samsung was like for photos, It was so easy and great photos, this S23 dosent do any of that, no brightness bar that I used to use, or not that I can find. Now I click the screen and it focuses on a spot and you can adjust brightness based on that spot, next photo you have to change it and do it again.
I've tried every filter I can think but it lightens picture not brightens, so it's a little hazy.
I can adjust in paint shop pro but then what's the point I might aswell use my older samsung, though I might have to revert back and sell the S23 if a different camera app doesn't work.
Thank you very much for taking the time to reply and send links, I appreciate your help x
