I've recently received my s23 ultra upgrading from a dead One Plus 8 Pro and I've been having nothing but battery problems I'm consistently getting 2-3 hours SoT and I see people getting insane 8+ hour SoT and I've no idea why mine is so low the whole reason I upgraded was because of the crazy battery and it has so far been disappointing.

Today I've gotten 40 minutes out of 12% extrapolating that I'll get 6 hours battery and around 3 hours SoT.

Anyone have any advice? (I recieved this device on Wednesday if it matters (now Sunday))

Edit 1:
After letting it run flat it this is battery stats I got yesterday

Wiping cache partition fixes some of the bugs and improve performance by removing unwanted cache files.

Turn off your phone.

Connect your phone with a USB cable
to PC or another Samsung mobile

You will see the charging icon on your screen.
Wait till it shows charging with battery percentage.

Next, press and hold the Volume up and Side key simultaneously.
You can press the volume up button just before the Side key.
The Samsung Logo followed by
Samsung Galaxy appears on the
screen.

At this point, release the keys
Phone will boot into Android Recovery mode

In Android recovery mode, using Volume keys, choose "Wipe Cache
Partition" .

Then press Side Key to Confirm by selecting "Yes" and then press Side Key

You get "cache wipe complete" at the
bottom of the screen
Restart the phone to complete the
process

Does anything show in your Battery and Device Care under battery that's shows using lots of battery ?

Also use the optimisation tool in there.

Remember the phone will be in a learning phase for around 2 weeks.

You'll also be using the phone more than usual as it's a new phone you'll be learning of the functions and features and will be tweaking it's settings.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Hello There
I have got my phone last week and I am loving it but unfortunately the battery is not lasting a whole day barely 4.5 hours screen on time.
I have put 90% of apps into sleep, battery optimiser on, only wifi and internet on, all scanning systems are off,1080p not 2k and everything possible to save battery but unfortunatley I am not impressed with it.
Anyone can help?

If you have just got the device.
It goes through a learning usage patterns cycle where the battery will be inconsistent for a while.

Also I've heard numerous reports of using Smartswitch wirelessly, apparently can cause excessive battery drain. Probably due to older apps maybe.
I'd recommend Clearing the Partition Cashe on the phone.

I know with my S23 Ultra. Battery life is excellent, so you should be getting similar

Also check in the battery and device care to see what is using the battery more that it should

Screen on time is a very subjective measurement and completely dependent on how you use the phone, what you have installed and what runs in the background
