Hello,
Not sure if anyone else is facing this issue. When using sleep mode or routines that has a greyscale activated its not deactivating when the mode/routine finishes. I'm having to restart my phone to return it to full colour.

I've turned off the sleep sync from my watch to see if it was conflict, but the bug continues.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Go into the clock and tap sleep settings under the alarm. You might need to set a morning routine to disable it.

Unfortunately I've tried everything. From deleting the sleep mode to re-adding it. When toggling sleep mode off, the screen remains Greyscale.

I've set a routine now specifically to turn off Greyscale outside of sleep mode. But this shouldn't have to be the case..

I'm also encountering this issue, and it's driving me crazy. Once greyscale is on, I either have to run a routine to turn greyscale off (which is always waiting to revert back to on when the routine "ends" - no way to turn off the reverse action) or restart my phone. This great feature no longer works for me and it really sucks.

I am still experiencing the same issue on the s23 ultra. I also have a base s23 which does not seem to have the issue.

Does anyone have a fix aside from the routine workaround?

Yup i have this issue currently. Started out of nowhere but now the only way to reverse Greyscale is to restart the phone or set a routine between non-sleeping hours to disable it. I can't believe this though on a £1000+ smartphone.
I guess the other option is to remove Greyscale Mode from all sleep/overnight charging/battery saver routines perhaps. Will report to Samsung and see if they do anything.

This issue just started for me after resetting my S22U phone.  The only fix is to reboot the phone.  Is this on Samsung's radar?

Yes, I have this issue. It started when my phone went into sleep mode turning on the grey scale. Then power saving mode activated due to low battery (which I have set to restrict to a few apps too). I then turned off the power saving to find the greyscale didn't turn off.

I have this issue with my S23U, and I have tried reset, reboot and delete of all my schedules. And they all failed, so I removed and replaced each of the actions.. conclusion,  the darn power saving action when turned on was causing the grayscale issues in the app drawer icons and home screen to remain on.. Remove the power saving action from the mode actions list, and everything will work beautifully..
