Has anyone else come across this at all?

I feel like this has only happened and appeared recently. (But it may have always been there?)

There's an image on this Reddit thread here (And posted below) that shows what I'm talking about - (although mine isn't this bad) - the small dot that appears just to the bottom right of the front facing camera.

It's definitely to do with the Proximity sensor. Changing to light mode and then making a call, you see four small squares that make up a square in the exact location. Seems to only be visible on darkish backgrounds. The dimmer the brightness the more obvious it is,

Not sure when it appeared but I first noticed this last night. I also did the google Play System update too last night. I doubt that the two are linked though...

Anyone else had this recently or previously?

Great! At least it doesn't bother as scratch would. For me, it looks like a camera under the screen, since it's a perfectly rounded cut. Anyway, thank God it's not an issue, since I have the phone for less than a month, and I'm not using it yet. Still can't let go of S10e, which is in perfect condition 🥺

Thank you for the help!

And what about Fingerprint scanner square shaped shadow on the display? Did you ever visit service center?

Share a photo if possible, because if you say one month old phone then a photo of the issue should help. For me the fingerprint sensor and proximity sensors that used to appear on the lowest brightness gray color screen (on chrome app)  has just disappeared in 3 days, basically it appears in initial days and then slowly fades away. You may go to service center but not sure what they will say. For my case they said that its normal

Actually it fadded and was completely gona at the end of the day but then i had a long call of about 30 mins and its back. So it will come and go everytime i call? This is annoying. Sorry can't add photos as i don't have other phone but it's same as the image above in the thread
