I reviewed a lot of articles about the S23 Ultra when making the switch, the biggest factor was it's extended battery life with users stating they were reaching about 10+ hours of Screen on Time (SOT). I let the weeks pass to let the battery usage adapt and after 3 weeks the best I can get is not even 3 hours. I am extremely disapointed and restrict from using my phone when I should not for the price I paid.
I turned on light settings for the CPU but I do not want to remove 120hz and the display quality as I paid to have such quality.. How are people able to reach 10 hours of sot? Could it be that I got a deffective device?
One thing I saw online is that bad LTE signal/overlapping can cause issue, I am in a remove location so I would assume my signal is bad but can it affect my phone that much?
Screenshots below of my best battery time so far with usage, all apps like SNAPCHAT, INSTAGRAM, MESSENGER are put to deep sleep as they had the highest background usage, but now I do not receive notifications and miss out on messages a lot of time so I have to open the apps to verify if I received any messages.
Bluetooth is connected at all time to my Garmin Venu 2.
I added the last 7 days showing at max 3hrs of sot

Can you point out which one?
Spotify I can't put in deep sleep because it will just stop playing audio in my car after a couple minutes.
Instagram is Deep Sleep, so is messenger, snapchat, facebook reddit
thank you!

Hi there, @TheSkyProd. I definitely expect that you'll be able to get extremely stellar battery performance from your S23 Ultra. Sometimes, it's just a case of fine-tuning some settings, or seeing whether a particular app, service, or process is contributing to unusual battery drain.
Just to get a better context of the battery life you're getting (and why it might not be what you were expecting as yet), I'd recommend allowing your phone to drop below 50% from a full charge, and posting another screenshot of the Usage since last full charge.
This screenshot will show the Screen on time, Screen off time, and it will also let us see all of the apps that are using your battery. It gives a very good representation of what is using the battery within that timeframe.

Thank you @PaulM1
I charged the battery up to 100% this morning at 7:00 AM it was full.
I will update once this charge drops towards the 10% to give the most accurate representation. I did clear the Cache partition to give it the best chance

Hi @TheSkyProd
As long as I get a full day's usage from my phone from my own personal usage I do not regularly look at screen on time etc as battery usage is a subjective topic.
I do turn off 5g connection oin my settings and put a few apps to deep sleep.

In my personal use I find that Chrome is a resource hungry option which js why I prefer Samsung Internet.

Hi, @Fizzo, and thanks for enclosing the screenshot. I suspect that it will be other processes on your phone that are contributing to the battery drain you are experiencing. I can see that you are using 5G, and this typically consumes considerably more battery life than 4G. There is a handy guide about 5G here:
https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-use-5g-on-your-galaxy-phone/
You may wish to continue using 5G, of course. However, if you wanted to prolong your battery life, I'd recommend toggling it off and using 4G and/or Wi-FI.
There is also a very helpful guide here:
https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/galaxy-battery/optimisation/
If you incorporate these steps, I think you'll get much more battery life out of your S23 Ultra.
