S23 model not from UK

Just purchased S23 256GB from Samsung Store in UK. The model is SM-911B/DS which is not listed under the UK Samsung website that claims to support all UK sold phones. Support tell me the IME number brings the model up as a SM-911BZGGEUB. My model appears to be an international version but why is it not supported in UK and how would I get the web support I might need. And what differences might there be in the firmware or hardware.Thinking of returning it for refund as being not according to description. Any insights?

Hi @Rutile2 , That model number does look a little odd. 😕 Can you doublecheck the model code in Settings > About phone? Should be SM-S911B/DS

Screenshot from when I put an S23 256GB (Green) into my basket on our UK Online store:

International versions of phones will normally have some regional specific software and sometimes depending on region. Some features or apps may not be present.
More so if it has carrier installed software.
For the most part, hardware wise, it will be the same as a UK model.
Not sure how it stands warranty wise. As the phone won't be registered here, so support may be limited.
I know on the phones I did import. Samsung Pay wouldn't work without that regions SIM card.

Update: thanks..support convinced me it is a UK model, supported normally even if model number ending in B/DS is not seen on the website model number dropdown menu. Looks like B/DS are what is sold in the UK Samsung stores. Clearly the website need to be updated.

Hi, @Rutile2!

Your model SM-S911BZGGEUB can be found here on the UK website: Buy Galaxy S23 & S23+ | Price & Deals | Samsung UK

If you'd like me to check the details on our system, drop me a PM. 😊

Hi yes, thanks...it should be SM-S911..as you said. My mistake. It appears the B/DS partly refers to dual sim...updated my post

update2: original mail had mistake, my model number in my phone is SM-S911B/DS.  Appears the B/DS is some kind of alias  or grouping of  BZGGEUB since B/DS does not contain any (green) case colour info present in the BZGG number. Looks like Samsung support has not caught up with Samsung marketing.

Colours are not separate in model numbers (as far as I know). The base model numbers in UK for phones from Samsung are typically B/DS as they are always dual SIM variants, at least from what I've seen from the last 4 years of the Galaxy S series.
