S Cover Not Working after One UI8 update

One UI8 update has stopped my S View Cover Screen working on my S23 Ultra, the cover screen menu is not available in the settings. When I close the cover it no longer turns off my screen or locks it. So annoying! So I currently have an expensive Samsung cover that does not work with my phone! It was absolutely fine on One UI7!!!

Might be worth sending feedback under support incase it's a bug that needs fixing in one ui8.

I have the exact same issue. My S23 ultra no longer locks when closing the cover.

How did you fix your phone front screen not working please my flip 4 hasnt worked since an update now if i close it wont work when i open it

Mine just literally started working again, I didnt do anything in particular, I did remove the case and refitted it but that was about it

This is so so stupid. Why did the solution of removing your case and put it back on again work? 

So yeah I can confirm that removing the case and putting it back on again works!
