Anyone tried the Repair Apps option in recovery mode? Was expecting some sort of progress bar (similar to the one you get after an update showing 'optimising apps') but all that happened was an immediate reboot. Was that normal or has something broke since UI6.0. I'm using S23 Ultra but interested to see if same behaviour on S24 models.

No I've not had to but I assume that happens in the background when the phone is rebooted @Robin999

Are you having a particular issue with an app ?

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

They seem to have removed the repair app options in the s24 ultra.

Just for reference.

No, I was wiping the cache partition at the time and out of curiosity tried the repair apps option. It rebooted immediately and didn't feel like it did anything in that short time. Wondering if it just deleted a cache index file (like the old dalvik) which would explain its promptness. I've since seen some reports online (unofficial), that say the repair apps process is actually broken with no fix as of yet and was wondering if anyone on here had experienced the same.
