Phone call options/keypad do not appear when making or receiving a call?

Hello,

 Whenever I make or receive a call, the keypad doesn't come up on my screen so I am unable to hang up after the conversation is done and have to wait for the other person to hang up. How do I fix this?

I have a partial solution. In settings search for Press Side button to end calls. There will also be a button option to answer call. No speaker option is available.

Had same issue with my s20 ultra before update. Didn't fix the problem after the update. So bought the s24 ultra and still having the same issue. Turning phone off and on is only a temporary fix. Could it be a carrier issue with Samsung phones? I'm with talkmobile who ,I think, use the Vodafone network.
