Hello,
Whenever I make or receive a call, the keypad doesn't come up on my screen so I am unable to hang up after the conversation is done and have to wait for the other person to hang up. How do I fix this?

I was having the same issue with my Samsung s24 ultra.
My fix was shutting the phone off and going to recovery mode (press and hold Volume up+Power button until u see samsung logo then release buttons.)
Then use the volume buttons to go down and select clear cache partition (using side key) > select yes (using side key) > then reboot system (using side key)
Phone restarts and you should be able to make a call and see dial pad again.. You'll regain access to speaker phone and be able to hang up

This all began after the last software update. My keypad doesn't show up and I cannot hang up. This IS NOT a settings issue. The phone was working fine until one of the last updates screwed it all up.

I have this same problem too. I have to restart my phone everytime this happens. Also it keeps happening at least once in every couple of weeks. Did you get to fix this issue? Please let me know

Can make calls from the contact list. But after that we don't get the screen to hang up the call or put the call on hold. If the person on the other end misses to hang up the call, the call in my phone continues until I restart the phone again.

Same problem here. Can make calls from my contact list, then does not indicate I am on a call, I can not hang up or even select speaker phone.
Seemed to occur straight after an update yesterday. If I can't rectify the issue I will be telling everyone Samsung is *****!

Can you all do what I said with clearing the cache partition. That will fix it!

Have you found a solution? Mine started doing this today. The phone counter in the top left of the screen doesn't appear anymore and I can't get to the call screen to put someone on speaker or hang up. I cant get to the keypad .... it's all just gone even while I'm on a call. And somehow mid call today it dialed my voicemail out of no where and I couldn't hang up to even call the person back.
