According to some reports, people who updated One Ui 7 on their Galaxy S23 have encountered some issues, such as the Now Bar being asymmetrical and the AOD settings. I haven't received it yet, but I'm wondering if it's worth updating when I get it or if I should wait for it to be fixed. Are there any opinions that will help with this issue?

Monday
I have flip 6 and the update has given me serious battery drain!.. esthetically, it's good.. but battery is really bad now.. hoping for a fix soon!!
Thursday
I receive this error after each payment attempt, after confirmation from mobile banking app.
Of course iisue appeared after update to ui7.
I have s24 plus.
Thursday
I have an S23 Ultra. I had a lot of the Good Lock Labs apps to customize my phone and I'm assuming those didn't work with the new update. I uninstalled all of them because my was getting stuck in this loop of unlocking, locking, then ultimately resetting and doing the same thing until it forced itself into safe mode. So far it seems to be working. I even updated the phone to the last patch. You also have to update the Google Play Protect in the settings (Samsung support told me that).
Thursday
Some issues is being polite i would say. One ui 7 is ui/ux untested release. Only a lunatic would lunch something completely full of ui/ux bugs.
Example the search in the app menus is on now on bottom on top of text and other thinfs, but the area for the search is still at the top empty.
The now bar if you disable that ***** also disable the lock screen notifications and ability to change music.
IF now bar is enabled and you click the now bar with a playing item you get the notifications panel where you cannot swipe to remove the app playing song.
If you open a m3u from samsung internet and you play on vlc, you will not be able to stop the music unless you reboot the phone or you force stop the vlc app. no icon anywhere to stop the music.
The app search is now infinite scroll without the ability to be as it was horizontal and organized by alphabet, if you put horizontal they get sorted by weird order.
So much more things like icons with wrong spacing, the baterry icon is now weird, the settings is now more dificult to access, the phone now is not one handed use as it was and i could keep for hours talking about the new one ui that is a piece of *****.
Samsung should allow us to go back to one ui 6.1 using odin or anything else.
I am about to rollback to one ui 6 unofficial way and buy a new phone if this one bricks. The new one either will be iphone or a new samsung with oneui 6.1 but disable the updates.
Thursday
Update, uninstalling the apps DID NOT work. Currently using my tablet to write this because my phone is unusable. Crazy that my newer tablet is fine but my older phone is having issues

Same problem here with S23, but in my case it can't be fixed! When One UI setup screen is shown after turning the phone one, it says "Welcome" and shows "Start" option, but no option to "skip to home screen". And that One UI setup screen automatically closes (probably crashes internally), and leaves the phone in state described by @Derek- in their first post: "
My S23 updated last night and it is unusable. The home button is gone, so I can't exit apps. The Settings app won't open. Some push notifications I need for work no longer come through... I have been loyal to Android/Samsung for years, but this is unacceptable."
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. I NEED THE PHONE FOR WORK. IT HAS BEEN UNUSABLE FOR OVER A DAY. THE PHONE IS WAY TOO EXPENSIVE FOR SUCH BEHAVIOR TO OCCUR!
