I've not seen any posts about this so perhaps there's a fix which I don't know about, otherwise I'm really hoping this reaches Samsung because it desperately needs a fix, but basically...
I have One UI 7 on Galaxy S23 and I have my lockscreen notifications set to Cards which is what I prefer. When I have more than 3 notifications on the lockscreen, the notifications come down into the Fingerprint area, so when I want to unlock my phone, tapping the Fingerprint sensor opens the notifications screen instead of unlocking the phone - the phone will only unlock if I hold the Fingerprint sensor until it unlocks. This wasn't an issue with One UI 6 as I was using LockStar which allowed me to limit the notifications to 2 on the lockscreen - this has been removed in One UI 7.
Is anyone else having this issue, and is there a fix for it?
And before anyone says "just use icons on the lockscreen", I dont want to. Android is supposed to be customisable and tailored to the user. Compared to One UI 6 (which I had no issues with), One UI 7 has regressed and is becoming more like iOS. The "fresh" look has sugarcoated the removal of some features, like Priority Mode when playing games and moving this to Modes and Routines - what was wrong with Priority Mode?! I'm convinced Samsung has stopped listening to its customers and has just become another "Apple".
