One Ui 6.1 navigation Bar

Samsung S23 Ultra updated today and I am seriously irritated with this update. First thing I noticed my navigation bar, I had the option of swipe or buttons. I have always used swipe for navigation and my recent apps were on the right and my back to the left with home being center. You used to be able to choose left or right for either. Now it is incredibly difficult to get to my recently used apps. Everytime I used the navigation bar it sends me to the home screen. If I wanted to go to the home screen I'd swipe in the middle. Everywhere does it now. Can't go back a page or to recent apps it all sends me home. There's an annoying period where you have to hold to get recent apps to show up. This is stupid and inefficient. Secondly it keeps opening apps up when I'm trying to scroll through my pages of apps that I'm not selecting just trying to turn the page and it's not responding correctly just opening apps. Very disappointed so far and will continue to notice things I hate about this update throughout the day. Wish they would revert the update.

Not all heroes wear capes! Thanks for this! Didn't have time to check out all the new features before work. Was beating my head all shift without my old nav bar for recently used.

Yes! I absolutely hate the new navigation options, if I wanted a crappy iphone and it's out dated features I would have gotten one. Now I have to go back to having a button bar because Samsung has decided to become apple...... time to switch to Google I guess??

Also I swiped back to home 3 times trying to get rid of my keyboard smh

If you have the 'swipe from sides and bottom' gestures enabled, to switch between apps quickly, you can swipe left or right on the gesture bar.

Google gestures will be exactly the same, they only have swipe from the sides and bottom.

The gestures are quite easy to use once you know how to...

To go back from any app or screen you swipe inwards from either the left or right sides of the screen.

To go to the home screen, you swipe up from the bottom.

To open the recent apps, you swipe from from the bottom and hold.

To switch quickly between apps, you swipe left or right on the gesture bar.

Of course, if you want to go back to the three swipe from the bottom gestures then you can download Good Lock from the Galaxy Store. I have posted instructions further up this post 👍

the new update has made my phone now difficult to use , bring back the old navigation bar!

Same here anyone know how to bring back the 3 line's not just one hate it like this,I think is more efficient like before atlest for opening you TAB.
