Media picker battery drain

S23 Ultra experiencing huge battery issues with Media Picker being the culprit. This has started recently, possibly aligned to Jan security update. I believe this is widespread and may be an issue with android rather than Samsung. Anyone else experiencing this? Has it been raised with Samsung?
