Having issues making and receiving calls on the S23

The phone is having issues with calls. You call it, it either just rings for the caller but not at my end, or not at all, then I get a text that I missed a call.

Also, sometimes I can make calls, sometimes I can't.

I have been in contact with my network provider and they say it's all fine at their end.

Then it is a network issue.

One thing you could try in the meantime is to do a reset of network settings (NOT a factory data reset).

This would simply refresh all your access points (mobile 5g/4g etc, WiFi etc).

The other thought is when did you last change your SIM card? If not for a couple of years, pop into the local shop for your network and perform a SIM swap (note - you'll need ID).

You are probably aware but just in case, 4g & LTE are broadly the same thing. 👍

Vodafone took me through a network reset today already. Sim not been changed for at least 2 years

Not sure if you still have this issue but I came across a similar problem recently.

Phone could ring out but not receive any calls. Text messages were taking hours to come through too.

Network provider said everything was fine their end.

I ended up fixing it by ordering a replacement sim (same number).

Sim cards don't go faulty very often but when they do they're a pain to diagnose the fault.

I've had exactly the same issue with my S22 (and I think I recall it on the S21 as well). It is VERY frustrating. All the other device features work fine, so you have no idea that the phone element is not working. I only discover it when I try to make a call and it will not go through. I then need to reboot my phone and it works. I do NOT think this is a network issue
