When I search for Google News in the Play Store I see the following message.
Looking for Google News Daily Headlines this app isn't available.
Is there any particular reason why I am seeing this error message.
Thanks Michael.

Hello @Anonymous User

I'm in the UK using a Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra purchased from Samsung UK and that app is definitely available to me on my Playstore.

Did you by chance import your phone or maybe who you purchased it from supplied a model from a region it may not be available in.

To remonstrate I've downloaded it and took screenshots.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

And try Settings > Apps > Google Playstore > Storage > Clear Cache > Then try again.

Google News is available from the Google Play Store, I'm in the UK and it's available to download it. It's on my S22ultra so they isn't a reason why you can't install it.
