Google Messages display issue 'Can't reply to this short code'

Hello, I have seen this weird display at bottom of 'Can't reply to this short code' on messages that I have received. 

It looks like a flickering text display and I am unsure if anyone else has seen this?

I have tried to clear cache on this app but still seeing this issue.

I will give you fast solution until they fix this problem,  

Go to play store and search for messages by Google,  then uninstall,  so that will return for old version and problem will go

Yes, I have this issue too S23+ , but it's a Google message app bug. The only way I stopped it was to go back to the factory installed version.

It seems to be a bug with 'Google messages app. Hopefully, they'll release a fix very soon.

I saw a lot of complaints on the net when I searched by the content of the flickering message as a keyword

The issue disappears if buttons are used instead of gestures in navigation bar. Hopefully it will be corrected for gestures too

👍 That's a good observation, I checked and it works. Thank you.

But I prefer swipe gestures for navigation to button tapping, I hope google will soon fix the bug for gesture navigation.

Latest Google messages app (Samsung version) update fixed the issue

What version, or what date did that update come out? Mine updated on March 27 and I think I saw this error once since then.
