Ordered a Samsung S23 on the 28th of November and there was an offer that I would receive Free Earbuds and £100 Cashback within 45 days, but received nothing from Samsung via post or email. Just checked today and seems like you have to raise a claim within 30 days??? This is an absolute scam of an offer hoping that people do not make this claim in time and lose the offer. If this is not sorted by Samsung it will be the last ever Samsung product anyone in my family has ordered. Never received email instructions or follow up to at least do the claim, so Samsung if they make an offer they should stand by it and not hope people don't read the small print. In the long run I think Samsung will lose more money then make from this poor way of doing things. Also have been waiting for ages on customer support lines and chats.

Sorry to hear your frustrations and although its not crystal clear it does say on order page how to claim. It could be a bit clearer I agree but it's not a scam at all have done this process many times and it always arrives so long as you fill the form out.

Sorry but it is a scam, you cannot protect that. There is probably some small script that says to do that, I can see many reviews of people pissed off same as me, so its an issue. Samsung should at least send an email stating that if the buyer wants to receive the offer they should process the claim..... 

Why would most people order something with free cashback and not want the cashback???

The promotions are run by third party companies. They are the ones that set the rules, and usually they are quite specific.
Different retailers have different promotions or versions of them.
Like has been mentioned before, it will be in the terms and conditions of the promotions.
I'm not sure of the contact details of the promotion team, but you can either try Samsung Customer Support or send a direct message to @Sam_UK to see if they can help with any contact information.
Have to say that as you are passed the 30 days. I would think it unlikely that the promotion will be eligible.

I will look into it, but I can see many people unhappy about Samsung for many reasons including this offer, so if not resolved they will lose huger credibility with customers including myself. 

Samsung is a huge brand and they probably pay huge sums to a bunch of people to define these policies, and sorry to say that has not gone well. Even if they are third parties, Samsung should not allow this level of poor customer service.

No I do see your point and hopefully they will change it. I have done it for years so second nature to me but if your new to it or don't know how to sort it then you get the short end of stick. Really it should just be automatic, suppose they bank on people forgetting.

I also bought an s23 for Christmas for my daughter. However it was very clear in the 'samsung trio promotion' text that you needed to register your purchase within 30 days for the £100 cashback, free buds and Disney 12 months subscription.

I can assure it isn't a scam as I received the £100 transfer to my bank, and the buds FE were sent before Christmas. The disney has also been registered.

I am sorry you missed the important details, but it was plain to see all over the website.

If it helps I bought mine on amazon UK. But retailers both had links to the promotion where the terms were stated.

Put in a claim for my free £100 and ear buds told there is a problem but can not log into my claim !!were do I log in !!

Why did you leave it to claim, I claimed mine the same day I got the phone and was approved near enough straight after I hit submit

I bought an S23 via Sky and submitted my claim once the phone arrived. Within a week I received the ear buds but still waiting on the £100 cash back. It does say allow up to 45 days though but thought with the buds arriving so quickly the cash would follow straight away.
