Dual Sim not working on s23 😕

Hi there, I bought the S23 the other day and wanted to put my dual sims to work. Previously on the s21 I had the one using data and the other for calls. However I cannot activate them both. The option is grey.

I've done resets and updated my phone and to no avail it hasn't worked .

 

 now I thought it maybe positioning. With the first tray empty. I looked to see of its due to one being an E SIM and it shouldn't make a difference.

Can anyone help me please?

You are using two sims. Esim counts as one

Handset only has 2 IMEI numbers so only 2 SIMs can be used at any time. Your eSIM is taking one IMEI, the Smarty SIM the other.
You won't be able to use 2 physical SIMs at the same time as an eSIM is applied and in use.

Move your physical SIM to slot 1.

eSIM and SIM 2 use the same slot and can't be used together. You'll have to move SIM 2 to slot 1 then you can use them both

I have S23 ultra. I'm facing sim issue.. my both sim card doesn't work in same time... only 1 sim card working at a time. Other one stop working

I have the same issue, Slot 1 only work with the WIFI on, as soon as i turn wifi off it goes to "emergency calls only," Slot 2 works fine if slot  1 is empty.  If i put 2 sims in then none of them work, only  1 sim works at a time. 

Have you found a solution?

I have the same problem.

I've been using 2 sims at the same time for the last month and suddenly today they stopped working together.
