Yes. and I have several "experts" from Samsung remote access to check my settings. They can find nothing incorrect. Then they give up and say ask the community. This started after I called about not getting notifications during calls even though the allow notifications during calls is set to on. They still have'nt fixed that but it was after their troubleshooting and resetting my app preferences that this problem with early morning notifications getting through started. And all of this started after the latest download when they they took away the ability to have different notification sounds for different apps. I think it is a software bug but maybe somebody will find the setting that is off. And no I do not want to set up a sleep routine or put the the phone on DND each night because those disable everything and I use the phone after the 10pm setting on the DND sleep. I cleared the notification this morning because I have them set to repeat so I don't remeber which app was involved. It wasn't a system notification or an alarm, and the notification that did come isn't in the notification history. So tomorrow when I get woken up way to early I'll take a screen shot to hopefully get a clue about what is causing the issue.

Today a notification came at 5:37 this morning even though DND Sleep is set to 10:00pm to 06:00am. It is gmail that is getting through. But the app notifications in the DND sleep are set to none allowed. I also found a pop up message from 05:30 asking if I wanted to turn off my 06:00 alarm. I'm curious if the alarm notification is cancelling the sleep DND. However, I didn't have an alarm set on weekends. The only alarm that I had set is Monday through Friday. However, when I checked the alarms, I found a sleep routine alarm had been added, I suspect, by the "expert" tech support agent. I've gotten rid of that. Also, the phone is now randomly turning on DND during the day. I discovered this when I tried to increase some music volume mid day and found the volume disabled, and then found that DND was on.

It is not from the user end. it is not appropriate to try to avoid admitting a problem
I have the same problem with whatsapp
my dnd is setup to ring only for my favorite
but when it comes to whatsapp everything (calls, messages) give notifications
it is a problem with most Samsung phones

I have similar issues, my dnd is set to "none" for calls and messages with no contacts listed as exceptions either, yet I'm still getting notification sounds for Facebook messenger and texts. I think my solution will be to stop buying Samsung devices. Seems I'm spending more and more time researching solutions for numerous issues that Samsung tech support can't explain. Everything that I loved about my S9 seems to be gone... The simple things that made sense and that were very useful.

I can also confirm that the "do not disturb" still allows notifications on my phone and my wife's phone.

@jwilbanks: When Do not disturb is enabled, please make sure that the following settings are in place:
1) App notifications > None allowed
2) Hide notifications > Hide all (toggle this on)
