Hi,

I have read articles about turning off the photo app post-processing by the AI. There are actually no ways to turn it off entirely - the most we can do is to reduce the effect.

I ask you to have this option embedded in your next update. Just be logical : why have an expert/professional mode if we are forced into changes on our photos, with no ways to revert the changes ?

An alternative option would be having both the original and the AI post-processed pictures saved.

I hope you understand my point (which is shared by many users).

Thank you.

I HAVE SUSSED THIS. IT WAS DRIVING ME CRAZY, BACK AND FORTH WITH EE/SAMSUNG.

Disable gallery permissions so it can't be used, and use your Google photos to view pics. Will stop the post processing. Hope this helps!!

Finally I did restore the default settings and tried your solution. That worked then. Thank you a lot ! 🙏

I 100% agree! If you are going to force AI optimization on users with no option to revert to the original, I am going to switch to an iphone 16! It is utterly ridiculous that every photo I take in 50 or 200 gets completely RUINED by being "optimized", and that the only way to stop it is to do things like block it from having permission to use photos snd using another app!

On a second subject, you also need to fix the stupid moisture detected issue!!! I've had to return THREE S9 ultra tabs and THREE S24 Ultra phones in 6 weeks! Enough is enough!

SAMSUNG IS GOING DOWNHILL FAST!

I just bought an IPad! My phone is next to be replaced with an iPhone because it is once again detecting moisture!! S24 ULTRA NUMBER FOUR!! Do you enjoy paying to replace people's phones because they stop charging or what??!!

I used to love Samsung devices,  I'm now to the point that I completely despise them!!!

This seems to have solved it for me on my S23, at least so far:

Go to the Samsung app store and download Camera Assistant by Good Lock Labs. This was developed in cooperation with Samsung. Samsung doesn't have their own camera assistant app.

Launch the app and turn off Auto Lens Switching.

That's it! Hope this fixes the problem for you. 😊

Hi, thanks for the tip. I did that, but it didn't work for me. AI is still processing the photoas before. It is so frustrating! Anything else that I can try?

@Tremainkels: Just try every possible combination of choices in the Camera Assistant app. That's what I did.  Good luck! And yes, this awful "enhancement" feature is frustrating and baffling!

Hey, I had to go to camera > settings > i

Intelligent Optimization > turn off screen optimizer. I also messed with the resolution (12M/50M/200M) and that seemed to help.
