Google Assistant

Hi all,

 For some reason on my S23 Ultra I am unable to use the Google Assistant app. I get a message saying not compatible with my device. I also don't have any option to uninstall it from the apps list, just uninstall updates and disable. Has anyone else had this issue?

Settings search for default apps and change Assistant to Google.

Also try downloading gemini from Google store as that will be probably replacing it

Just tried and I don't even have the option to set it as default. Doesn't show up. I double checked to make sure it wasn't disabled.

I now have it working. For some reason after I followed your suggestion to install Gemini, set that as default, it then gave me the option to use Google Assistant.

I believe gemini will eventually replace Google assistant

It's looking that way. Will stick with assistant until Gemini fully takes over.
