Charging cable - different

So samsung stopped supplying plugs with phones. We have just upgraded to the s23 ultra, husband gone away on business took new charging cable and our old Samsung plug. Has got 30% battery and the new cable is not USB anymore, just had to order another charging pad for him to collect in the morning so he can charge his phone.

Not very happy about this at all 😡

The new phones are USB just not the USB your used to. S23 and last couple of generations use USB C

It is laughable that no charger or decent cables come bundled, under the guise of saving the planet, reasons ...

1. Everyone still spends money and buys a charger

2. The chargers tend to be non branded and sometimes dangerous

3. The non OEM chargers and cables usually charge slowly or have connectivity issues.

All in all a user experience mess and little to no environmental benefit.
