Hello everyone,

I was excited about new one UI 7.0 update. But last night, when I charged my phone. after couple of hours (might be 4-5 ) my phone was so hot like an iron. Was never been so hot during charging anytime before the update.
If anyone has same problem please let me know for any solution please.

Thank you

Some troubleshooting

Clear phone cache partition, hard reboot the phone

If it happens again try different cable/charger

. Resetting Battery Statistics:

Open the phone's dialer and enter the code *#9900#, Scroll down to "batterystats reset", Tap on "batterystats reset", and Restart your phone.

2. Recalibrating the Battery:

Charge your phone to 100% and leave it charging for at least two more hours, even if it shows 100%.

Use the phone normally until it shuts off due to low battery.

So recently I have updated my S23 to one UI 7, I have noticed a considerable difference in battery life, I have had to charge the phone 3 times in one day which never has been the case, for those wondering, this isn't an issue with battery degradation as I have serviced my S23 with official Samsung service kit parts which included the screen, frame and battery, so the battery is new (service was done last week and battery lasted 2 days with my use) the battery noe needs charging 3 times a day with the same amount of use and I have noticed a significant amount of heat being produced through normal use (nothing intensive at all) the phone gets very hot which never happened before with One UI 6.1, is anyone else having the same issues?

This needs to be sorted as soon as possible.

Why would you leave it on charge for 2 hours when its already fully charge? All these info are myths regarding leaving it on charger after fully charger even after it's fully charge false news

Hey @Saf191 . I merged your thread with this one as they were both regarding the same thing.

Having the same issue with my S24 Ultra. It seems to have also impacted my battery life as well.
