Hi, can anyone recommend a good protective case for the s23 ultra ?

I had bought the same when I had my 22 ultra, the protection wasn't that great. Had to swap to a otterbox case.

Try spigen. I've always used the spigen rugged armour on all my samsung phones and never had any issues.

Yes, spigen neo Hybrid or ringke onyx. I have ordered ringke onyx for my galaxy S23 ultra

You can purchase Urban Armor Gear UAG case but it is expensive. If you can afford it then you can go with it.

I always buy the Spigen Thin Fit. 

I'm careful with my phone and really just need edge protection, a bumper, for those very, very rare times I drop my phone in the supermarket.

I've used covers that afforded more protection but the Thin Fit allows me to still have an elegant feel when holding the phone.  The case is not much wider than the phone itself. 

If you're much rougher with your phone buy accordingly.
