Help! After the last update, my s-view phone case stopped working. When I close the cover, it will not turn off the screen. And will not wake when I open the cover.
I have tried restarting my phone multiple times. I have tried taking the phone out and putting it back in the case. I have tried clearing the cache. I have tried resetting all settings. When I search the setting for cover case, no settings come up anymore.
Does anyone have any other suggestions??

I believe this could be the proximity sensor. Go to Samsung Members > Support > Diagnostics. Do all tests show up OK?
How odd it doesn't turn up in settings. I'll do some tinkering to have a look myself.
You could also try Smart Tutor and get device support directly.

I can't find where the diagnostics test is. Would it be in my phone settings?

I was on the website. I just downloaded the member app and ran the test. It showed that the proximity sensor is working. But the case still doesn't work.

I guess S23 and S24 series have similar or same S-view wallet case. Do you see this menu in Settings

This is what my settings look like. Before this past update, it has the cover screen option, but now it is gone.

Hmm, maybe Samsung move option in Advanced settings >Accessoires (that's how I have on S21 ultra on OneUI 6.1., my S21 wallet case stopped working too after one update, led notification are dead,but still open and close case working on it.
Maybe your S-view is indeed dead 😑
