Hi everyone I just recently purchased a new Samsung galaxy s23 ultra after much reading online as it just looked to big but after having it for 3 days I must say I'm loving the phone my only concern I was reading loads of reviews about how great the battery was on this phone with snapdragon gen 2 etc people was reporting 7-8 hours screen on time but I'm only getting between 4-5 have wqhd on and adaptive battery can anyone suggest if this is OK or have I got a faulty phone? Many thanks 😊
I've the S23 Ultra and I also have my display set to WQHD+. Plus, I don't use WiFi but have 2 SIM cards (3 and EE) inserted for my network connections. My previous full charge got me, 9hrs and 28mins screen on time. Lasting me 1 day and 18 hours with 5% battery remaining. I put my phone on the Samsung 3 in 1 wireless charger, by the side of my bed for overnight charging. I've turned off fast charging so it's a slow charge over night. I should point out that I only have apps installed. That are used on a regular basis. I'm not currently, on any of the social media sites. Apart from YouTube and this community.
Thanks will try some of these and check over next few days see if it improves anything I was just hoping to get more than 5 hours on screen time as seen ppl get over 8
Seeing better results today but that's cos did some disney plus watching films I'm starting to understand a bit better now how people are getting 8 to 9 hours sot as watching films isn't as heavy as browsing Facebook all time for some reason? I still got over 30% left with nearly 7 hours sot yesterday I had just touched 7 hours and battery went completely
Also I have just turned adaptive display off today should I leave it on? I got it set about half way brightness as some time in house screen gets a little to dark for me like it a bit brighter or should I leave it on
