Battery draining faster than normal

Hi everyone ever since the October security patch my s23 s battery has been draining very fast three times yesterday and today I've had to recharge it one when the battery drained so quickly it went into the rad.
Ive not installed or used any apps in the last two days.
I updated yesterday and its been like this ever since.
Also losing I ternet usage 
Ive never ever had these problems before 
At time of writing this im using my phone with the charging cable plugged in.
Is there a fix coming soon.
I'm on UI8.0

I posted this after one UI 7 update, but applicable after any update.

Another suggestion I've seen:
Wipe phone cache partition
• Power off the device.
• a USB-C cable to a PC or another device.
• Hold Volume Up + Side Button until Recovery Menu appears.
• Select Wipe cache partition/ Confirm Reboot system.

Well I read you comment and i immediately know your problem, using your phone while it's charging having the cable plugged in, no matter what you doing makes the battery 'addicted' in a way. Over time the charging port will perhaps stop working, I learned that too from a friend.

I haven't added any apps and I only use my phone about three times a day.
If I go out I make sure now to top it up to 100
When I come home usually an hour later its around 70 per cent.
Later it drops to almost zero
It has caught me out 3 times in a day yesterday to into the red and have had to recharge it.
It was fine before the latest update and I do use good guardians app booster after any uodate and the memory part of it also.
Device memory also tonhelo give that little per percentage more

There have been some issues,reported with One Ui8 on older Devices. As suggested it is advisable to clear the cache partition, ensure All apps are up to Date and run The Galaxy Apps Booster from the Good Guardians suite. 

Another idea to Reset the Battery stats. With Auto Blocker turned off  dial *#9900#  scroll down to Battery Stats Reset and Tap on it,Restart phone. Credit to @lminvti @Moiramon and @Piper123 who have also mentioned this fairly recently.  You wish to switch the Auto Blocker On afterwards.

Just remembered something important, your charger. Do you use the original/compatible charger or just a random one you have around the house, because having a random charger reduces battery life by alot, like alot... I had to use a random charger and the battery drained fast, when I swapped to a suitable charger it was back to an effective battery life. If you use the original charger, and the problem still is the same, I'm not sure how to help, maybe contact Samsung. Good luck!🙏
