Hello everyone, I am here to raise a serious question and hunt for answers because I have spent over a month looking for a solution, and I am here to document my findings within the whole update ON MY END (since I didn't saw anyone else experiencing issues the way I do) related to downloads of media files (.jpg/.png/.mp4/.pdf) from variety of apps within random periods of times (very inconsistent and unreliable; cause is also unknown) as well as other bug I have discovered just recently. To begin, I would like to say that the issue occured ONLY after OneUI8.0 update in EU region for Galaxy S23 Ultra (SM-S918B) with update version S918BXXU8EYI5. Prior to update everything was smoothless without any issues.

I was very much anticipated for OneUI 8.0 update that I installed it the day of it's release. After installing the update, there were no lag, or any unusual battery drains like others have mention but several apps stop downloading media files from apps like Google Photos, Discord, Twitter, AirBnB. It was odd at first, but then after some time it downloaded the media all at once (like some queue), but then the issue reoccured and the cause of it was unknown, so I decided to wait for the security patch update in hopes to get a patch for such issues, but after the security patch (S918BXXS8EYJ3) the issue still persist. So I tried to do an ADB logcat and found out that for some reason job (for download) is done only after period of time and not after I click on install (I tried analyzing it but 10 000 lines of codes is excessive). My Google Photos and Downloads apps were put on unrestrictive battery access yet still downloads stall, gets delayed or cancelled (feels like an airplane simulator), so the cause is unknown. I tried consulting several AI LLM but I got no clear answer (something with battery optimization, app freezing or FUSE STORAGE, but it's unknown). Contacted Samsung Support but they recommend me to take the phone to authorized phone service (diagnosis would cost 20 Eur + 20 Eur for software update, also they wipe the data) - therefore it was also fruitless.

I already did, they recommended me to contact authorized services centers for a diagnosis instead of actually providing any help.

I don't use wifi, I only ever used mobile data and it is pretty decent with 5G connectivity

I am a customer of Samsung, I legit bought it off a samsung website, and I've seen others reporting issues related to their phones here too, how come I am not allowed?

alright, but maybe others are experiencing such bug.... you know, I already been looking for this bug for months, and I legit feel like I am the only sheep there

As mentioned this is primarily a customer to customer forum with some input from Moderators. Your Device obviously needs an investigation, therefore would need to contact service centre or Tele 2 operator stores.
