App list number increased

Hi. Has anyone noticed an increase in the number of apps in their settings. My app list number just randomly increases, but the amount of apps installed by me stays the same. Does samsung just add new apps whenever they like and are these usually just system apps?

Yes there are, mostly system apps.

So apart from it being annoying it's nothing to worry about?

I suspect you have recently updated to One UI6.1?

If so, then yes, Samsung will have needed to add apps for the AI and other improvements.

Yes I updated to UI6.1 a week or so ago and noticed a reduction in the apps, then slowly it started increasing. So guess its just them slowly adding things back on.
