Suggestion for Samsung Phone app

It would be great if the phone app would allow us to have a note field on the screen (since there's so much wasted space above the dialing keyboard).

For example, my provider, Vodafone, has a handful of shortcuts when listening to voice mail messages.  Press 77, for example, to delete the message, press another number to advance 10 seconds, or go back 10 seconds, etc.  It's quite a list of options and a note field would come in handy.
