I want to be able to turn on the AOD for any new notifications but also for when I tap the phone (in the middle of the night when I have all notifications off). Is there any way to achieve this without third party app. I've found that third party apps increase AOD battery drain quite a bit. I'm on OneUI 6.1 on my S23 and Lockstar does not have this functionality (it does not work at all for me).
Also, is there a way to change the icon size of notifications on the AOD?

I'm not sure to be honest.
I appreciate you wouod rather not use a ³rd party app however >
You might want to have a look at downloading the Goodlock app and it's plug in called Lockstar.

@EfficiencyFan: If I'm understanding you correctly, you should be able to achieve this by following the steps below.
1. Settings > Notifications > Lock screen notifications > On > Back > Do not disturb > Add schedule > Set this to your preference > App notifications > Add apps > Select the relevant apps, or select 'All' in the top left > Done.
2. Settings > Lock screen and AOD > Always On Display > On > When to show > Tap to show
This should allow you to tap your screen during the night to check your notifications via the AOD, but without being disturbed by the notification sounds.
