WiFi drops and phone restarts continuously

Hi

My s22 ultra keeps restarting whenever the WiFi is on. I have spoken to my network provider who have advised that this a software issue and to let Samsung know too.

Every time the phone restarts, I go to the Samsung members app and the first message that pops up tells me that my phone incorrectly restarted and that a log will be sent to Samsung.

I hope a fix is made available as I'm only using my data at the moment for the internet and cannot use WiFi.

😞 sorry to hear that. I left mine in bootloop all night long and in the morning it was on a screen where it said android cannot be initiated and asked me to factory reset which I did. Now the phone is rebooted successfully.I'm in fresh setup screen and i'm too afraid to go along with it hopinh some stupid software update will fix the issue and at least my phone is turned on at the moment.

On a sidenote why do the customers have to cope with all this bs when it's obvious that samsung update messed up the phone? They should either replace what is broken or offer a new phone. Never heard of such a stupid fault even from chinese phone makers let alone other flagship models. Samsung never again!

only way I could get my device from being in a continuous boot loop was to place it in the freezer for a few mins....I know this going to sound weird.... but now the phone would freeze when navigating the system settings.... had to then force a restart..... have managed to eventually clear the cache and do a full factory system reset..

Same issue on a Galaxy A52 (exactly what's described in this other post). Waiting for Samsung to fix this very quickly. I already faced connectivity issues which killed a Galaxy S8 a few years ago... Loosing faith in Samsung

Your suggestion has made not one iota of difference to my s22 ultra, still freezing and or constant rebooting...have even turned WIFI off ... so my phone is useless...

Pretty poor show for a "flagship" handset...

Hi , there is one more setting that is turned on in my ph  in developer mode that might help (verify bytecode of debuggable apps )  turn this on and wifi debugging on and see if it works

i switched off my wifi temporarely  , when i switched it back on  its doing the same thing again, the fix i found isnt working this time , it was the update that done this to our phones, probably deliberately , theirs gonna be thousands if not millions of peope buying new phones now  ?  Were all just pawns in a big game of power and $$$
