Tauri S22 Ultra screen protector

A number of people have recommended this screen protector on this community in various posts.

So I thought that I should see what it's about.

Thought for those wondering. I would go through the installation with you and give you my thoughts at the end.

Sorry if it's a bit long.

In the kit you actually get quite a bit. Including a non slip mat to put the phone on. Great detail, so it's a good start.

First of all, definitely watch the instructional video. Before starting.

Also what I do is wash my hands, to not only clean them but also wet the skin to reduce any dead skin or dust contaminating the installation.

Definitely clean the surface around where you will be working.

So I started by putting the plastic locator into the charging port of the phone.

Next is to throughly clean the screen, including all the edges. Even on a new out of the box phone.

Throughly dry with the cloth

Now the really important bit.

Gently go round with the sticker getting any dust. Don't forget the side edges.

Doing this gently will hopefully not stir up any dust.

Then it's installation time.

Locate it in the pegs at the bottom of the phone 

Pull off number one tab, and smooth down into place, making sure you have lined up the selfie camera. 

Using the spreader, remove number two piece and smooth out any bubbles. 

Then do number three. Again smoothing out the protector. 

Gently smooth down the sides, and remove the last top layer.

You will hopefully be left with a perfect installation and then leave it a short time to cure.

So what do I think.

Once cured, it becomes really smooth and not really much resistance using the S Pen. 

It doesn't go right to the edges, so it's case friendly. 

I tried it with the Ringke Onxy case

This is a really great alternative to a glass screen protector. It's quite inexpensive, so it's great value for money.

I can see why others recommended this. 

The kit also has camera lenses cover, which I wasn’t keen on and just tried it.

It fitted with the case. The lenses are completely covered.

So will give great protection for the cameras. 

So overall, if like me you don't like glass protectors on curved screen phones.

This will give you the protection from all those scratches etc.

Fingerprint sensor works great as well. Just re-register your fingerprints after the installation.

Yes s21 ultra, I was also not happy with my note 20 ultra. So as I'm happy with the phone I have, I didn't jump to there s22 ultra. I do know any case or protector, you drop that phone at a wrong angle. You know your phone could be doomed. 😂

That 1st pick up off the floor and look, I remember a 7Edge, dropped, looked at screen, looked fine.... back was obliterated, few weeks later the whole thing packed in 🙄

I bought this also,2 days before I got my phone,1st time round I messed up,creases and bubbles,I should have watched the instruction video,I got it right 2nd time round👍

Got the same model ffor the s21 ultra and has been on for a year with no peeling or bubbling

I've had this screen protector for about 4 weeks now and it's stuck on very well. I'm amazed with how well it works with the s-pen as I've had TPU protectors in the past that didn't recover at all when used with an s-pen.

Great review! so just to confirm before I rip off my Whitestone dome glass protector...

Fingerprint scanner works ok and it's Spen friendly (ie low friction and no marks left)

Whitestone protectors are a great quality expensive product.
You have to re-register your fingerprints after putting this protector on. I waited until after it all cures.
To start with it feels sort of tacky. But soon dries and feels smooth.
So far I've had no issues with the fingerprint scanner. S Pen works really well. Any marks I've had rub off and it's probably more having a dirty protector.
The S Pen runs smoothly over this protector, but not quite as smooth as glass protector. But unless you press firmly, I don't really notice

Great installation pictorial guide.

Where did you install the protector -It looks like you did the installation inside  a compartment or a metal box  that maybe  reduces dust particles settling on the screen during installation

I've used this protector for previous phones and I was (still am) very happy with it. Very easy to install without any bubbles. I'm still waiting for my S22 to arrive but I've already bought the same protector and it's waiting to be installed. Definitely recommend it.
