Hi all to who may be reading this im currently trying to fix my s22 Ultra thats been stuck in a boot loop these past few hours
The phone worked fine until about may 20th as this is when the phone kept restarting on its own and booted up like normal. A few days later the restarts were becoming more frequent and wouldn't come back after just the one restart, it constantly kept restarting whether it was hot or cold I tried getting it into safe mode after the restarts and managed to get it in once before I exited out and now I can't even boot it I safe mode I tried to get it into recovery mode and it's constantly stuck in this boot loop. Sometimes I do get lucky and it turns on. Tomorrow im going to trade the phone in for the new s25 but im worried that I won't get any data from the phone onto my new one is there any chance of a little help getting it out of bootloop and making a backup of the data?

I went through the same thing so I know the feeling, so frustrating! try switching the wifi off that sometimes helps and doesn't restart as much.

Hi @HoppoEFC. If you can keep the phone on even for a short while, you'd be able to back up the data. Please take a look at this link on the different ways you can back up your data: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/backing-up-and-restoring-data-on-my-galaxy/

This happened to me as well last night. Started with the phone randomly restarting by itself earlier in the week, and suddenly disconnecting wi-fi. Now it restarted again last night, but got stuck in a boot loop of the samsung galaxy boot screen for about an hour before finally turning off.

I managed to start the phone in safe mode for back up and will try a factory reset.

Did you have any luck fixing this issue? I have the newest firmware, and the issues didn't start until the june 2025 One UI 7.0 update.

I can confirm that factory reset does not solve the problem. After about an hour of setting up the phone after the full reset, the same issue started again...

If the issue persists after a Factory Reset, then it would be worth sending us an Error report for our Software Team to check. This can be done by going into the Samsung Members app > Support > Send feedback > New message icon (bottom right) > Select the category > Make sure you check Send system log data > Tap Send message.
