Status Bar

Bit of a weird one for me, and I can't find the solution to it so I'm hoping someone else can shed some light. 

On the status bar, while on homescreen, it doesn't show all icons. IE NFC is on for example but it doesn't reflect on the bar. See below image. It's the same if I turn Bluetooth on aswell. 

But, when I pull down to get my notification section it does show to be on. See below. 

A few days ago it was absolutely fine so the issue has just cropped up. It could be that it's quite late and I've overlooked something but for the life of me I can't figure it out 🤭

I did do a FDR so maybe that's messed something up maybe? Idk. 

EDIT: checked out QuickStar module for a workaround but everything is showing as on already and also, when I toggle on of the status icon options the status bar, right handside flashes, but doesn't actually change. 

Also I did install system configuration update too so idk if the problem started before or after this.

Not the setting, but the pushed network configuration. My guess is that the network (or Google or Samsung) has prioritised the space there for a certain icon to appear in certain circumstances. What those are I don't know yet

But yes, it's teh system configuration in the phone settings.

Yeah I'm thinking it was the configuration update that's knocked it off tbh. That's the only thing that has changed on the phone itself.

I did try Good Look for the IMS notification thing at the top left of the bar but didn't make it go away - I've just turned off WIFI calling for now and will take it up with Vodafone as I've a case open with their tech team as the phone is connecting to 5G but all apps say no internet connection but that's another day task 😆

It's possibly a bug, there's no way of knowing whether the icon is intended to show or not judging by the change in behaviour of the Bluetooth icon. Little things like this can be annoying, I'm ok because although mine behaves the same as yours, I'm happy for it to not be there as I just leave it on. It's strange it's not everyone it affects but that can be the case with bugs too.

As for the IMS notification, I'm sure it could be removed (I'd be removing it as I couldn't put up with that). There's a good app called SystemUI Tuner that should work, I've used it on my S23+ and it works well. You will probably need to grant ADB permissions (safe, doesn't root or affect Knox) but it's simple to execute. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zacharee1.systemuituner

Settings>Mobile networks>VoLTE calls SIM1/2/x>Disable
