Sound goes funny android 13 ui5

Since getting the latest firmware update the sound on ig and fb goes funny not sure if it's the apps or firmware it didn't happen before the new one and it fine after a restart

Afternoon all, I have finally had a response from Samsung on this issue, see below,

Thank you for your patience whilst we reviewed your Error Report, Joshua. Our experts have taken a look into this and have advised that this is an issue with the Google Home app which should be checked by Google. This is due to us not having full details of that app.
 
If you need further assistance with Samsung related issues, please submit another error report as soon as the issue happens. You can do this by opening the Samsung Members App > Tap + (Bottom right) > Error Reports > Category > Please enter the full issue details and attach any screenshots you may have > Ensure 'Send system log data' is ticked. Once complete, tap on Send. Thank you. ^AJ


Is anyone here still experiencing this issue? Seems like a strange app to cause the issues we have/had...?

Further update, I've just had this issue occur, so I tested force closing the Google Home app, and guess what...it resolved the issue...

Can anyone else replicate this before we badger Google?

 Stopping Goggle Home App did not help me. But my problem is garble sound only when bluetooth to my hearing *****. Sound to the car radio or portable music box play fine. And when I re-pair them it works good until I forget and walk away from phone (15 feet) and it's back to garble. This happened with the Thanksgiving Day update to 13 - UI5.

Sounds like a different issue to what we've had.
Submit a report through Members app if you haven't already. Will generate a system log report for them to work with

I think I've found what causes the issue.
Do you by any chance have Google camera devices at home that you view through the Goohle Home app? (i.e. Google doorbell, Google Cam etc.).
This issue appears to occur after I've viewed live camera through the home app - when you're in the live view and change the volume, it seems to think it's in a phone call so brings up the phone call volume. Then when you close the app (not kill it), it causes the crazy volume issue.

Can anyone hear reproduce this?

You are right! I reproduced it with my Google battery doorbell and Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Good news is I've tried the developer preview of the new Google Home app and this issue is eradicated...they've finally made it so the camera previews use media volume rather than call volume...
Praying they release the update ASAP
