I've had my samsung coming up to 2 years, in very good condition, kept in case, hardly ever drop, never got wet/drop in water. All of a sudden today the phone shuts down x3 and restarted. Did a diagnosis run everything is fine, suddenly phone starts to crackle loudly, bottom half of screen went and it shuts down again and just left side of phone become hot. I thought it was going to explode
Sometimes, the internal diagnostic is not sufficient to identify problems such as yours. If you're planning on keeping the device in the long term, then it really needs inspecting properly by a Samsung engineer.
