Secure Folder: Forgot Password doesn't work

I seem to have forgotten my Secure Folder password. When I press Forgot password, it gets stuck on the loading icon. It doesn't take me to My samsung account as it should. I only have 4 attempts left now? What to do? What happens when i exhaust the tries? Does it delete the secure folder

Will this remove the content inside the map? We need to get access without removing everything, otherwise its useless.

Probably yes but I did not have anything inside the folder so I did not check.

Hello all, I have stuff saved in my secure folder that I cannot afford to lose. If I uninstall I lose everything. I am not getting the "forget password" option. I just keep getting locked out for longer periods. Help please! 🥺🙏

I HAVE THE SOLUTION FOR YOU!! 

K so this happened to me and it was so annoying. No forgot password button.

Here's how u fix it! NOTE: YOU WILL LOSE EVERYTHING IN THE FOLDER.

keep entering wrong passwords it will continue to say try again in whatever time. KEEP ENTERING WRONG ONES. once u get to 24 hours the UNINSTALL OPTION WILL SHOW UP UNDER THE PASSWORD BAR! 

I chose it and no longer have the annoying "unlock secure folder" notification you can't swipe to go away. finally!!

After numerous attempts trying to figure out how to reset password when I wasn't get the forgot password option I came across this guide and method 3 worked straight away without losing any files
