Secure Folder: Forgot Password doesn't work

I seem to have forgotten my Secure Folder password. When I press Forgot password, it gets stuck on the loading icon. It doesn't take me to My samsung account as it should. I only have 4 attempts left now? What to do? What happens when i exhaust the tries? Does it delete the secure folder

Same here. There is no "forgot password" button.

Not getting forgot password option after trying password dozens of times.

When I try to do this it says it will erase all data but not sure if it refers to data related to the app or the data inside the phone. Have you lost anything by doing that?

I have S23+ (UK) and having the same problem.

I have same issue - forgot password option is not appearing and its now going up in hours before I can try again to type in password.

Forgot the pattern to my secure folder, there was no option for me to reset my password, tried deleting all the data to try and uninstall the folder, but I can't even get that, its completely useless to me, I've lost everything in there and can't even get back in to store the rest of my work

This issue has been solved for me with the new UI6.0 update. If you forgot the password, you can remove the app and setup again. This was not working before.

Not sure if password reset works with samsung account, but now this option is explicitly asked you if you let samsung account to reset the password when you reinstall the secure folder and should work if you forget the password in the future.
