Since update one ui6.1 phone was boot looping and freezing up. Now it's just freezing up first, then switching off for few hours. Did a hard reset, nothing helping. Seems like there is problem with this update and need to be fixed ASAP.

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community!

Hmm, this is very odd.

Maybe try clearing the cache partition.
Turn off your device: Ensure your phone is completely powered off.

Connect to a computer: Plug your phone into a computer using a USB cable.

Enter Recovery Mode: Press and hold the Volume Up key. Simultaneously press and hold the Power key. Release both keys when the Android logo appears.

Navigate to Recovery Menu: Wait for the Android system recovery menu options to appear. Use the Volume Down key to navigate through the menu options.

Select "Wipe Cache Partition": Highlight "Wipe cache partition" using the Volume Down key. Confirm the selection by pressing the Power key.

Confirm "Yes": Use the Volume Down key to highlight "yes". Confirm the action by pressing the Power key.

Wait for Completion: Allow the process to complete; then your phone will reboot.

*If nothing seems to work, it may be worth contacting Samsung support. If this happens again, go to Samsung Members support > feedback > include system logs.

@mahri80  Another idea is to try is Safe Mode in case there is a conflict with 3rd party apps/themes (if applicable) and if ok in this mode would pinpoint recent apps which have been installed.  However you may need to liase with Samsung/visit a Samsung Service centre.

Mind  you there have been a number of hreads on this issue and it would appear in many cases to be software related, the company should really  publicly respond as this is a problem for a number of S22 devices.

Thanks for the advice. Have done wipe cache partition as suggested. Well, now I have to wait and see if it's resolved the issue.

😡 well it did it again. Went back and wipe cache partition, uninstalled samsung store app updates, cancelled weather widget. Getting really annoyed by it.

power off the phone, then power it back on while holding the Volume Down button until the device boots up and "Safe Mode" appears in the bottom left corner.

Does this happen in safe mode?

Wow yes so something is very wrong.

Being a member to members community theres not much we (customers) can do. Above mentioned by JAMES4578- it could just be a software issue and be fixed via an update

Update folks. Decided to try one more time to fix the issue. Started off with reseting all settings, wipe cache partition again, took off access to third party apps, deleted the last few ups, deleted updates do samsung store app, put phone in maintenance mode, then restarted the phone. Then, I sent logs to samsung support. They said they would get back to me, but since yesterday afternoon, the phone was working fine. No freezing, no sudden restarts. So, I'm not sure if samsung did the fix remotely for my phone or if I did something that removed the bug, causing all the nonsense. Fingers crossed.
