Hopefully it is but you can't know for sure only looking at the box. Sometime they would pack a fake inside a original box. Who or where did you get it from?

Hi @MedBlg998800

Who did you buy it from?

If you bought it from a reputable online reseller, most likely it is OK. If you bought it from unknown sources then it is very hard to tell. It could be fake or for another geographical area.

You could check that dialling *#0*# brings the testing screen.

You could also use the IMEI/SN checker on: https://www.unlockboot.com/samsung-imei-checker/

Saying that, I would never recommend buying any expensive electronic device from unknown sources. The savings do not give a good risk/benefits ratio. e.g. If the original device costs £1500 and one can get it for £900. Sounds like an absolute bargain, saving £600. However, if the phone is not original then instead of saving, one could lose £900.

The other possibility is that the phone is not meant for the one's geographical market. e.g. the phone is meant for India instead of Europe, assuming the buyer is located in Europe. The phone might be original but will lack any warranty and again, if something goes wrong, you could lose £900 or pay a hefty bill to repair it.
