1) Previous Note Users

Simple because of the build in Spen with all its features and the boxy shape you love.

2) Camera Enthusiasts

New Clear glass on cameras for more detail
Pixel binning for more clarity
Full Spen features for taking remote shots with it and stuff.
More contrasty look if you are into that sort of pictures ( I love the contrasty ones compared to brighter ones in the S21 Ultra)
Warmer (magenta tones) as opposed to the cooler (greener tones ) on the S21 ultra.
Better stabilisation and noise handling especially on the 3x and 10x.

3) The Posh and Tech Enthusiasts

It's a New phone with new design, New CPU and new graphics .
So if you can afford it, go for it.

To sum it up it's a nice incremental update if you need it and love Pixel peeping and stuff.

For the Average Joe not much.

Side Note : Apparently with One Ui 4.1 you can choose how much virtual ram you can allocate ( 2, 4, 6 and 8gb) hence the 12 gb Maxed out ram.

Looks like I'm the average Joe. Yes, I would like the new s22 ultra. Do I need it, no. My first Samsung was the s10+, great phone. So great 6 months later I pre ordered the note 10+. So great I regretted my next purchase, note 20 ultra. Had bad luck with the panel, green tint issue and colours didn't look as vibrant. One reason I got the s21 ultra. I'm really happy with it, brilliant phone. I'm leaving the nice incremental update this time. Before moving to Samsung I had a iPhone 6s for over 3 years. 😂

I'll upgrade my z fold 3 and my 10yr old son bagged my fold brick!!
Hopefully better than the note 20 as that was the worst note I'd had and soon gave that to my 13yr old when I jumped ship to mi 11 ultra. Went back to Samsung with the fold 3 but sadly its just like a brick and not the best camera so looking forward to the s22 ultra 1tb phantom white hope it does the trick. Maybe it'll stay in my pocket lol get than 6 months!!

Hello @GoanGeek

I fall in your point 1 as I've been a Note user for quite a while.

And a little bit into your point 2 as I'm a phone guy { Flossy Carters words }  so if a phone ticks my wants and needs boxes I'll buy it.

I'm in no way posh but I do provision for my next purchase to have the disposable income available through simple hard graft working.

From recent YouTube first impressions your Side Note Comment is correct in regards to Ram allocation.

More here > https://www.sammobile.com/news/one-ui-4-1-choose-how-much-virtual-ram-you-want.

I also like that the Samsung Galaxy s22 Ultra can drop it's Dynamic Refresh Rate to 1Hz depending on what's being accessed on the Ultra which I'm confident will provide more optimisation.

When I purchased my Fold 3 I let my Samsung Note 20 Ultra go to a family member and to be honest I've missed it.

I feel that the Samsung Galaxy s22 Ultra is the next best choice in my continuing journey. 😎
