I was surprised with how quiet the vibration is. I am literally missing calls on notifications that I wouldn't have on my old Note 20 Ultra. This is so annoying and given it is hardware, I doubt that there will be a way to fix it. I am so angry at myself for preordering!

Here is a bit more info on what has changed with the s22 vibration motor. Title of the video mentions the iphone , but it shows the s22 teardown of the motor. Video produced by jerryrigeverthing

It doesn't appear this works for alarms however which is how I like to use the vibration settings without passing off my SO in the morning

Yes, the max vibration intensity on the S22+ SUCKS! It is horrible. Samsung ruined it.

If you have been to Settings > Sounds and Vibration > Vibration Intensity, and increased this to it's maximum level for Calls, Notifications and Touch Interactions, then please try selecting Call Vibration Pattern and changing this to another option to see if you notice an improvement.

I actually had already tried this since my earlier post and it did help a bit. Thank you.

I have to agree. Didn't think it was an issue until I keep missing vibrations. Sigh.. s10 was good but the battery died on me. Now I'm onns22 and thinking have I made a mistake
