S22 Ultra SPen Issue

Hi new here so first post. 

S22 Ultra arrived today. During set up/first usage I noticed an issue with the S Pen. It works fine but there is a ‘blank’ spot on the right hand centre side of the screen where them pen doesn’t register. I’ve done a google search on this and it was mentioned that if you have a magnetic closure in your case then this could be the problem. I bought a cheap Olixar case to tide me over for a week or so, removed the phone from the case and S Pen working fine. 

My question is. I’ve been thinking about getting the Mous Limitless 3.0 but now I’m wondering if the magnets in the case are going to be an issue.

Thank you, I just factory reset my device and was about to return it to Samsung thinking it was faulty, when all along it was the magnets in the case! Frustrating that I didn't see this before factory resetting the device, but very glad I didn't send it off yet!

I had an Otterbox Strada folio case with the magnetic clasp on my S22 Ultra.   I tried to use my S Pen a few days later and experienced the same problems, the pen wouldn’t function in the area the clasp would cover the screen (middle right hand side).  You could literally draw lines up and down the screen and see a blank egg shape.   Removed the case and hey ho back to normal.

 I’m glad I saw this post or would have looked at returning my phone!

Shame as I like Otterbox cases.

I have had my Mous Limitless 3.0 case on my S22 Ultra since day 1 and it works great. No interference with the S pen. These cases were actually designed to work with the S pen and have no issues.  I have always had Samsung Notes until this upgrade so was considered about the change over to a new kind of case but really like it.  I also got the Mous 3.0 car charger and desk charger and had no issues.  I even added a Sinjimoru detachable strap to the case and it still works on the charger.

That's great that your case works! But isn't Mous Limitless 3.0 a regular back only case, not folio?

Thank you for this post, I was searching every where of why my I couldn't write on the right side of my screen, well I had bought a wallet/phone case from amazon that has a magnet closure and sure enough I took it out and everything is working fine now!
